It is not vanity to dress up at work. Of course, this does not mean wearing flashy or revealing clothes, but the ones where you look well dressed and confident. You must look like a professional, for this is the first thing that people see of you. In order to snag a promotion, you must give off the aura that you can handle anything they throw at you. Choose clothes that look professional, so that you will be seen as one. Dress like an ideal candidate to be an ideal candidate; this is a basic step to real and sure success.
