Need a Promotion – Have you considered asking?

Many who complain about lack of job advancement simply fail to realize a fact that sometimes, you just have to go and get your dreams. You’ve worked hard and did all you can for the company, but still you’re stuck in the same old desk since you can remember. Some bosses do this on purpose to see if you are bold enough to ask for a better job, while others simply fail to notice your hard work.
It takes courage to do so and timing is also essential(now might not be the good time to push your weight around due to the bad economic conditions), so try to get the best possible time like when the company is out hiring for a higher position you might be qualified to do. Try to make your qualifications known and present them to the respective people when openings arise. You might just get the dream job you’ve always wanted, with a small nudge that is.
